Photos from 2015 Christmas Party

We all had a terrific time at our 2015 Artworks Christmas Party and Dirty Santa Gift Swap. Everyone was very generous with their food donations for 325 Zero Hunger and nobody got hurt during the Dirty Santa part. Thanks everyone for joining us. Here are a few great photos from the night.
Merry Christmas to you and all.

2015 Artworks Christmas Party and Dirty Santa Gift Swap

Join us all at Artworks Studio & Gallery on December 3rd, 6pm, for our 2015 Christmas Party. Talis Jayme of Artworks Studio & Gallery and Kimberly Morris of Perdido Massage will be co-hosting the party this year along with all of the gallery artists and Villagio businesses. 325ZeroHunger, the nonprofit with the mission of ending childhood hunger in the 32506 and 32507 zip codes of Escambia County, is our 2015 Charity Organization of the Year, and this will be our second year with Noah Moseley hosting our Dirty Santa Christmas Gift Swap.

325ZeroHunger Charity Contributions

Bring food for the hungry. 325ZeroHunger is working with seven (7) elementary and middle schools in our geographic area and will make sure that our food contributions are distributed to those children and families in need in our area.  We encourage our party guests to bring a food contribution for this wonderful charity. The following food items would be greatly appreciated by families this organization serves:  Pasta, Pasta Sauce (in a can, not glass), Rice, Canned Beans, Canned Chicken, Canned Tuna, Chili, Ravioli, Peanut Butter, Cereal, Oatmeal, Grits.

This Christmas party at Artworks is one small chance for us to help address local childhood hunger, but it is a HUGE part in the lives of those children. Bring any of the items suggested above as your contribution. Donations will also be accepted.

Dirty Santa Christmas Gift Swap, 8pm

Bring a wrapped gift if you would like to play in our Dirty Santa Christmas Gift Swap where you can steal gifts from someone else and they can steal from you – all in good fun and everyone who plays leaves with a Christmas gift. We suggest wrapped gifts of about $20 in value. The Dirty Santa Christmas Party will start at 8pm.

Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served for everyone attending and a cash bar will be provided by the Jellyfish Restaurant and Bar. Party attendees are welcome to bring food and beverages to share. More details will be posted here as possible. The public is welcome to join us so tell all of your friends. Call Noah Moseley if you have questions (334) 538-0580. Thank you. We hope to see you and your friends at the party.

Merry Christmas!
~Talis Jayme

2015 Perdido Key Wine & Art Festival

The 6th annual Perdido Key Wine & Art Festival will be held at Villagio Town Center (13700 Perdido Key Drive) on April 2-5, 2015. The festival has been extended from its original two-day length to a four-day experience. Throughout the event, guests will have the chance to taste a variety of wines from different regions, including the U.S., Europe and South America.

“We will feature a different region daily so guests will have an opportunity to sample two dozen wines during course of the festival,” event coordinator Lori Raisch said. “On Easter Sunday visitors can explore on their own and experience all that the Perdido Key area has to offer, including our beautiful beaches and delicious dining options at local restaurants.”

Live entertainment, arts and craft vendors and professional artists will be featured Saturday afternoon starting at noon and lasting through 6pm.

More details are online at http://www.visitperdido.com/wine-art-fest/

Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Perdido Key Visitors' Center or at the day of the festival.

Vendors interested in the Saturday noon-6pm festival should email Maureen Turner at PKWineAndArt@gmail.com for a vendor application.

Be sure to visit us in the gallery throughout the entire four days as we will be hosting various events. Cheers!
